Morimatsu’s design manager Mr. Gu Zhenghui delivered a successful speech on behalf of ASME BPE at 2019 international forum held in Changsha China

At the international forum held in Changsha China, 18 April 2019, the same time with 57th CIPM，Morimatsu’s design manager Mr. Gu Zhenghui, also the ASME BPE delegate of Great China region, delivered a successful speech with the topic “ASME BPE Standard & Certification – 2019 Version”, on behalf of ASME BPE.
During his speech, Mr. Gu introduced the BPE history, application scope, committee establishment, standard content, updates of 2019 version, future trends and BPE process, etc.
By 1990 an official committee was formed to begin developing a standard to address the needs and requirements for bioprocessing industry. Since then the standard has had 8 releases with the 9th edition scheduled for release this May, 2019. The BPE standard has been globally acknowledged to provide professional specification in design, manufacturing process, inspection and installation of Bio-equipment.
The standard can fully or partially applied to other industries with relatively high hygienic requirement or bio-burden control. Not only bio-pharma industry, ASME-BPE standard is highly regarded by pharma and personal health care product industry as well in US and Europe.
ASME BPE standard is developed and regularly revised by a group of interdisciplinary experts including End Users, EPC contractors, material and equipment suppliers, consulting companies and inspection institutions. Since 2009, Morimatsu started to sending representatives to ASME BPE regular meeting and been elected by the Committee as ASME BPE Regional delegate of Greater China in 2010.
In order to help China's Pharmaceutical Industry to move toward to a further advanced stage, Morimatsu is sparing no efforts to promote ASME BPE standard in the industry.
